Temperament
The Cocker Spaniels are very dominant dogs, extremely loyal to their owners and they are great for families with children, the cocker spaniel breed is very adaptable and well behaved around small and young children, which means that this is one of the best characteristics of this dog breed.
Another plus with the spaniels breeds dogs is that they are very obedient dogs and they learn extremely quickly. The Cocker Spaniels

Cocker Spaniel Characteristics
The Cocker Spaniel is a medium-sized dog, which weighs approximately 28 to 30 pounds when mature and reaches a height of approximately 17 inches
Typical longevity for an American Cocker Spaniel is 10 to 11 years, with English Cockers living slightly longer, on average at 11 to 15 years.
